River Valley Area Community Gardens:
New and returning gardeners will gather to review guidelines & meet their gardening neighbors.  Anyone who would like to garden but hasn't registered is invited to attend. New gardeners will get a tour of the gardens & amenities.
This year, we are scheduling a second workday from 9:00-11:00 am so come early if you're available to help out.

River Valley Area Community Gardens:
Come help us wake the gardens up from the winter slumber.
We'll pull the hoses & equipment out from storage. The compost pile will get turned and the potato beds will be prepared (and maybe planted).
Start the season off right - lend a hand if you can.

First Spring Workday
Saturday April 11th
9:00-11:00 am

Spring Green Community Library :
Are you looking forward to growing something in 2026? Whether you’re planning a vegetable patch, have flowerbed aspirations, or want to try a few plants in pots for the first time, let’s get gardening! Join the River Valley Area Community Garden at the library on March 21st at 1pm for an invigorating afternoon to start your season off on the right track. We’ll share our successes and failures in recent growing seasons, evaluate our resources (sun, space, time, energy, mobility, money, etc.), and set some gardening goals for the year. We’ll break into smaller discussion groups based on the interests of the participants (container gardens, plant supports, pest management, native plants, intensive vegetable growing, cut flowers, the possibilities are endless!).
We’ll bring plenty of resources, materials, and even some seeds to share. You are welcome to bring your garden notes (if you keep them), seeds to swap, or a favorite tool to show and tell, but your presence and enthusiasm are plenty!
There are limited spots! Registration required for this event.
