Board of Directors Meetings
The RVACG Board of Directors usually meets on the second Monday of every month, starting at 6:30 p.m. in
Room 115 at Spring Green Community Church, 151 Bossard St. in Spring Green.
During the summer months, weather permitting, the board meets at the gardens.
All gardeners and volunteers are welcome to attend.

River Valley Area Community Gardens:
New and returning gardeners will gather to review guidelines & meet their gardening neighbors. Anyone who would like to garden but hasn't registered is invited to attend. New gardeners will get a tour of the gardens & amenities.
This year, we are scheduling a second workday from 9:00-11:00 am so come early if you're available to help out.

Doug Rouse presents a seminar the basics of gardening every year. He will demonstrate and share tips on starting a garden, preparing the soil, tilling, mulching and water management. Doug has extensive practical experience, as well as a Ph.D. in plant pathology. This is great opportunity to pick up new techniques and share your own experiences. The event is free and open to the public.
Bring a lawn chair & listen in.

Caramel Apple Sale at the River Valley School Fair

The RVACG will be selling homemade caramel apples at the River Valley School Fair.
Buy an apple or come help us sell them!
We welcome help to prepare the apples on Thursday and Friday morning too - contact us.
